Attorneys General of the Cayman Islands and Trinidad and Tobago visit the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) Secretariat

The Honourable Samuel Bulgin, KC. JP., CFATF Chairman and Attorney General of the Cayman Islands and Senator the Honourable Reginald Armour, SC, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Trinidad and Tobago visited the CFATF Secretariat on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. The Attorneys General along with a contingent of officials from both jurisdictions were given a tour of the Secretariat by Executive Director, Ms. Dawne Spicer, Deputy Executive Director, Mr. Loxly Ricketts, and Director of Finance and Administration, Ms. Magdalene Walcott, and met with members of staff.

Chairman Bulgin and the Honourable AG Armour commended the staff on the successful execution of the recently concluded 56th Plenary and Working Group Meetings in May and for their diligence on the Mutual Evaluation of Dominica which was discussed and approved at the May Plenary meeting. They both pledged continued support on behalf of the CFATF towards the continued development of the Secretariat and its staff members.

The Chairman thanked the Government of Trinidad for their continued funding and support for the Secretariat.
